Here is a boxed FISHER PRICE #915 PLAY FAMILY FARM set Copyright 1967 on the barn plus 1977 on the box. The building is a Barn with a green plastic base and a smooth off white plastic roof with angled off corners. The barn walls have red paper lithos with white vertical lines, barn decorations, a circus poster, etc. and a Fisher-Price logo label with 915 on the roof. The front has 2 red barn doors with a white X bracing on each door. The left-side door makes a cow-like mooing sound when opened or closed. The barn has a hay loft with 2 small white sliding doors above the big barn doors. It measures about 11" wide, 7 ½” deep, and 8 7/8" high. With it is a Silo with round metal base, cardboard cylinder sides covered by red printed litho that has a BROWN FARM DOOR, BABY SUNFLOWERS, A MOUSE, A LADDER, etc. images on the sides. It is marked 915 on door and ©'68 on bottom. Overall size: 4 3/8" diameter and 10 1/4" tall with the white plastic roof in place.
Note that the two illustrations on the box indicate that these sets came with the same parts but in a variety of colors. With this set you get:
4 pieces of white plastic farmyard style fence section with an old style "KNIFE-WHITTLED" finish. The fence has two horizontal beams set across three vertical upright posts.
1 white rectangular feeding or watering trough with an open top that measures about 4 1/4" long, 1 3/8" wide, and 1" tall.
1 yellow tractor with 2 big red plastic back wheels and 2 small black plastic front wheels. Both sides have a small litho of the "engine" with a black bar across the top and 3 colored dots below that in blue, yellow and red.
1 brown horse with a black mane, tail, hooves, and facial features that has one broken ear. He has white socks and a white removable harness that hooks to the red hay cart.
1 white cow with brown spots, ears, horns, and tail.
1 brown dog with white spots, black facial features, black ears, and a black tail.
1 Black pig with white ears and white dot eyes.
1 White sheep with black ears, black face, and 4 black legs.
1 Red Rooster with black printed feathers and "MADE IN HONG KONG" markings around the base rim.
1 White Chicken with red printed feathers and "MADE IN HONG KONG" markings around the base rim.
The farm family is comprised of:
1 Tall Farmer Father with blue body, orange bandana, and yellow hat.
1 Shorter Son with blue body and yellow hat.
1 Farmer’s Wife Mother with yellow body and white hair.
1 Daughter with red dress, white collar, and brown hair.
The plastic pieces show few if any signs of being played with. The roof of the barn has areas where the white has darkened, the handle is a little warped, and one end has a touch of fading toward one side. The box has signs of storage with one end taped closed and some fading on a couple of sides so, please, use the photos to help you judge condition for yourself.
This set is ready to display or suitable for the little ones to play with. We know that our Granddaughter loved the little people sets when she was younger even though they were already "vintage" toys at the time!
