The #983 Safety School Bus is the very first Original Little People set ever made by Fisher-Price. This set comes with:

Large yellow
6-seat
wooden school bus with a clear plastic top and an open rectangular area in the roof where the FPT8430 roof piece fits
·
Yellow rectangle wooden roof top heat-stamped "FISHER-PRICE" in black on one side
·
Five straight-sided Original Little People figures with lithograph-wrapped bodies and white plastic collars
The bus is in good condition, some litho wear some minimal discoloration of the plastics, a good yellow roof insert and the swing stop sign is intact. As can be seen in the pictures, the figures have wear to the paper lithos. The original pull string with blue wooden ball is intact but has some wear.
This bus was the very first little people toy made by Fisher Price and is therefore quite desirable. Here is a nice opportunity to add to your vintage Fisher Price collection!
